Social marketing for Puma & Leicester City
The recent success of Leicester City in clinching the Premier League title has shocked the sporting world.
Earlier in the season Puma, the club’s kit sponsor, wanted to capitalise on the hype of Leicester’s remarkable progress by producing a series of engaging videos and GIF content to be distributed across Social Chain’s network of football-related Twitter communities.
Our two animated solutions were in the form of ‘Jamie Vardy’s wonder goal’ and ‘Sensible Soccer’ – a retrospective of some of the club’s defining moments from the season.
The first is a short, sharp, fluid GIF animation of Vardy’s unbelievable strike nestling in the back of the Liverpudlian goal.
The second comes in the form of an 8-bit style video, showcasing The Foxes victories over the likes of powerhouses Manchester City and Chelsea.
