New Social Marketing: Puma/Leicester City

Brief

Puma, Leicester City’s kit sponsor, wanted to capitalise on the hype of Leicester’s remarkable Premier League progress by producing a series of engaging videos and GIF content to be distributed across Social Chain’s network of football related Twitter communities.

Solution

Our two solutions have materialised in the form of ‘Jamie Vardy’s wonder goal’ and ‘Sensible Soccer’ – an animation describing some of Leicester’s defining moments from the season.

The first is a short, sharp, fluid GIF animation of Vardy’s unbelievable strike nestling in the back of the Liverpudlian goal. The second comes in the form of an 8-bit style video, showcasing The Foxes victories over the likes of powerhouses Manchester City and Chelsea.
